What Is Bizarre Lineage?
Bizarre Lineage is a Roblox RPG inspired by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. You explore the open-world town of Morioh Cho, unlock Stands (supernatural combat abilities), fight Raid Bosses, and compete against other players in PvP. The game launched in early 2026 and received its first major content update (Update 1) on March 21, 2026, adding new Stands, areas, and bosses.
This guide covers everything you need to know to get started without wasting time or resources.
Getting Your First Stand
Your first priority is obtaining a Stand — without one, you cannot effectively participate in combat.
Step-by-Step: Stand Arrow Method
- Find a Stand Arrow. These spawn at fixed locations around Morioh Cho on a timer. Check rooftops, alleyways, and park areas. The community has mapped common spawn points.
- Pick up the Arrow by walking over it and pressing the interact key.
- Use the Arrow from your inventory. This triggers a random Stand roll.
- Check your Stand's rarity. The rarity determines its base power level (see tier section below).
- Equip your Stand and test its abilities in PvE before fighting other players.
What if I Get a Bad Stand?
You can use another Stand Arrow to reroll, but your current Stand is destroyed in the process. Early on, keep whatever you get and learn the combat system. Even a Common-rarity Red Hot Chili Pepper can clear early PvE content.
Understanding Rarity Tiers
Stand rarity determines base stats and available abilities. Higher rarity does not always mean better for every situation, but it does mean higher stat ceilings.
| Rarity | Examples | Drop Rate | Power Level | |--------|---------|-----------|-------------| | Common | Red Hot Chili Pepper | Highest | Low base stats, limited abilities. Fine for learning. | | Uncommon | Magician's Red, The Hand, Purple Haze, Crazy Diamond, Golden Experience | High | Solid stats. Several Uncommon Stands (Purple Haze, Golden Experience) are A-Tier viable. | | Rare | Anubis, Killer Queen, Weather Report, Stone Free | Medium | Strong combat options. Killer Queen and Weather Report are both excellent. | | Legendary | Star Platinum, The World, King Crimson | Low | Top-tier Stands. The World's 6-second time stop is dominant in PvP. | | Mythical | Whitesnake, C-Moon, Made in Heaven, The World: High Voltage | Very Low | Best in game. Made in Heaven has unmatched mobility. TWHV is current S+ Tier. |
The Evolution Chain: Whitesnake → C-Moon → Made in Heaven
This is the only evolution chain in the game. Whitesnake (Mythical) can evolve into C-Moon, which then evolves into Made in Heaven. The evolution process requires specific items and quest completions. Made in Heaven is considered one of the three best Stands in the game.
Combat Basics
Bizarre Lineage uses a real-time combat system with blocking, dodging, and Stand abilities.
Core Mechanics
| Action | Key | Notes | |--------|-----|-------| | Light Attack | Left Click | Fast, low damage. Builds combo. | | Heavy Attack | Right Click | Slow, high damage. Guard breaks. | | Block | F | Reduces incoming damage. Can be broken by Heavy Attacks. | | Dodge | Q | Brief invincibility frames. Costs stamina. | | Stand Summon | E | Activates your Stand for combat abilities. | | Stand Abilities | Various (1-5) | Each Stand has unique abilities mapped to number keys. |
Combat Tips for Beginners
- Block first, attack second. New players tend to spam attacks and die to counter-hits. Learn to block enemy combos, then punish during their recovery frames.
- Dodge has invincibility frames. The dodge roll makes you briefly invulnerable. Time it to avoid heavy attacks and Stand abilities.
- Guard breaks are essential. Heavy attacks break through blocks. If your opponent turtles, use heavy attacks to open them up.
- Energy management matters. Stand abilities cost energy. Spamming abilities leaves you vulnerable when they are all on cooldown with no energy to use them.
- Learn your Stand's range. Melee Stands (Star Platinum, The World) need to be close. Ranged Stands (Weather Report, Killer Queen) should maintain distance.
PvE vs PvP
- PvE (against NPCs/Bosses): Focus on damage output and dodge timing. Bosses have predictable attack patterns — learn them and punish.
- PvP (against players): Mind games matter more than raw damage. Bait out dodges, then punish. Use abilities when the opponent is in recovery.
Raid Boss Basics
Bizarre Lineage has four main Raid Bosses plus new ones added in Update 1:
| Boss | Difficulty | Key Drop | |------|-----------|----------| | Kira | Medium | Stand Personality Essence | | Jotaro | Hard | Rare materials | | Avdol | Hard | Upgrade materials | | DIO | Very Hard | Legendary materials |
Tips for first-time raiders:
- Do not attempt raids until you have an Uncommon or better Stand at a reasonable level.
- Join a group. Raids are significantly easier with 2-4 players.
- Learn the boss attack patterns in PvE before raiding. Boss attacks are predictable but punishing.
Personality System (Quick Overview)
Every Stand has a Personality — a passive combat modifier. Personalities range from Common (weak effects) to Mythical (game-changing effects). You get a random Personality when using a Stand Arrow, and you can reroll with Stand Personality Essence items.
Quick rules:
- Mythical personality (Elegant, Feral, Transcendent) → keep immediately, do not reroll
- Legendary personality → keep for most builds
- Common/Uncommon personality → reroll when you can afford it

Trading Tips
Bizarre Lineage has a player trading system. Here is what you need to know as a beginner:
What Can Be Traded
- Stands (via trade window)
- Materials and items
- Stand Personality Essences
What Cannot Be Traded
- Account-bound quest rewards
- Certain event-exclusive items
Trading Safety
- Always use the official trade window. Never drop items on the ground for another player. Drop trading is the most common scam method.
- Check the trade confirmation screen carefully. Scammers will swap items at the last second. Verify every item before confirming.
- Know the value of what you are trading. Mythical Stands are worth significantly more than Legendary ones. Do not get pressured into unfair trades.
- Be skeptical of "trust trades." If someone asks you to give them items first and promises to give you something back, it is almost certainly a scam.
Approximate Value Tiers
| Item | Relative Value | |------|---------------| | Common Stand | Very Low — not worth trading | | Uncommon Stand | Low | | Rare Stand (Killer Queen, Weather Report) | Medium | | Legendary Stand (The World, King Crimson) | High | | Mythical Stand (Made in Heaven, TWHV) | Very High | | Stand Personality Essence | Medium-High (always in demand) |
Early Game Progression Path
Here is the recommended order of operations for your first few hours:
- Get a Stand from a Stand Arrow (any rarity is fine to start).
- Complete the tutorial area to learn basic controls and combat.
- Practice PvE combat against weak NPCs near spawn to learn your Stand's abilities.
- Level up by defeating NPCs. Higher levels increase your base stats.
- Attempt your first Raid Boss (Kira) once you feel comfortable with combat.
- Save Stand Personality Essences — do not use them on Common Stands.
- Work toward a Rare or Legendary Stand through arrows or trading.
- Explore Update 1 content (new areas, bosses, Stands) once you have a solid foundation.
Common Beginner Mistakes
- Wasting Personality Essences on Common Stands. Save them for Rare+ Stands.
- Ignoring block and dodge. Pure offense gets you killed against bosses and experienced PvP players.
- Trading away Stands too cheaply. Research values before trading.
- Trying to farm DIO without preparation. DIO is the hardest Raid Boss. Get a Legendary Stand and learn the fight in a group first.
- Quitting after getting a Common Stand. Stand Arrows respawn. You will get better Stands with patience.
Update 1 Content (March 2026)
The latest update added significant content:
- 4 new Stands including The World: High Voltage (current S+ Tier)
- Cyborg Sub Ability — a new secondary ability system
- 2 new regions to explore
- New Raid Boss and Mini Boss with exclusive drops
- World map expansion
For new players, Update 1 content is mostly endgame-oriented. Focus on the base game progression path first, then tackle Update 1 areas once you have a solid Stand and build.
